Industrial waste water streams often contain hydrocarbons, sugars and animal or vegetable oils and greases. Many utility districts and municipalities require a pretreatment of the waste stream before discharge into the sewer stream. E-SAFE© is recommended as a pretreatment for all approved industrial or commercial waste streams.
E-SAFE© increases the biological activity in the waste stream. This increased activity aids the treatment plant process. Any stream suspected of containing hydrocarbon contamination should be run through a water separator system before discharge.
