Oil storage facilities use PRA© to effectively recover any appreciable crude or heavy ends contained in the sludge (BS&W). The recovered EXTRA oil is sufficient enough to usually pay for cleaning costs, helping with the future cleaning operations budgeting. Treatment volume will be dictated by the severity of the buildup. Achieving and maintaining an improved degree of internal tank cleanliness results in the increased volume of usable tank capacity.
